Class Descriptions

Parent & Me (Ages 1–3)

Dance, play, and explore together! Parent & Me introduces little ones to music, movement, and imagination while building coordination, confidence, and the special bond between parent or caregiver and child. Through songs, props, and creative activities, it's the perfect first dance experience.

Creative Movement (Ages 2–3)

Designed for curious little movers, Creative Movement introduces the joy of dance through music, imagination, and play. Dancers build coordination, balance, listening skills, and confidence while exploring movement in a fun, nurturing environment that prepares them for future dance classes.

Tap & Ballet Combo

The perfect introduction to dance! This class combines rhythm and excitement of tap, and the grace of ballet, helping dancers develop coordination, musicality, balance, and creativity while building a strong technical foundation in a structured and encouraging environment.

Ballet

The foundation of all dance styles, ballet develops strength, flexibility, balance, posture, grace, and artistry. Dancers learn technique while building discipline, confidence, and body awareness that supports success in every style of dance.

Hip Hop

Age appropriate, high-energy, upbeat, and full of personality. Hip Hop encourages dancers to build rhythm, coordination, musicality, and confidence while learning foundational skills, terminology, culture, and technique.

Jazz

Jazz combines technique with performance, helping dancers develop strength, coordination, flexibility, turns, leaps, lines, and expressive movement. Set to energetic music, classes build confidence, precision, and stage presence while encouraging dancers to let their personalities shine.

Lyrical

Lyrical blends ballet and jazz technique with emotional storytelling through movement. Dancers improve flexibility, balance, control, and musical interpretation while learning to connect movement with feeling in a beautiful and expressive way.

Tap

Make music with your feet! Tap develops rhythm, timing, coordination, musicality, articulation, and listening skills while strengthening precise footwork. Dancers learn to create endless rhythmic combinations, accents, and syncopations that challenge both the body and the mind.

Heels (21+)

Step into your confidence! This empowering adult class blends jazz, commercial, and performance styles in a welcoming, judgment-free atmosphere. Heels are optional as dancers build confidence, musicality, body awareness, and self-expression while having fun and celebrating movement.

LaBlast Fitness

Fitness Powered by Dance®. LaBlast is a follow-along dance fitness class that combines a variety of dance styles with effective cardio and strength training—no dance experience required. Optional light hand weights add an extra challenge while participants improve endurance, coordination, and overall wellness in an inclusive, uplifting environment.

Stretch & Flexibility

Improve flexibility, mobility, and give your body length in this guided class designed for adults of all levels. Through stretching, strength exercises, and alignment, participants increase range of motion, and reduce muscle tension.

Stretch & Social (55+)

Improve your flexibility, mobility, and coordination while having fun! This class combines guided stretching, mobility work, and playful challenges using a variety of props to help increase range of motion and keep your body moving well. Exercises are easily adaptable for different abilities, making it welcoming for all levels. After class you have to option to stay and unwind, share a few laughs, and enjoy time with friends old and new.

Dress Code

Youth & Adult

Youth Dress Code Guidelines:

Hair should be secured away from the face unless otherwise noted.

No jewelry or watches, with the exception of earrings.

Please bring water.

Dance shoes should be reserved for indoor studio use only.Sneakers worn in the studio must be clean and free of dirt, mud, and debris.

Clothing should allow dancers to move comfortably while allowing instructors to see proper body alignment and technique.

 

Parent & Me (Ages 1–3)

Dancer:

Regular play clothes or dancewear are welcome.

Ballet shoes or socks.

Parent/Caregiver:

Comfortable activewear.

Socks or ballet shoes.

 

Creative Movement (Ages 2–3)

Dancewear of any style or color.

Ballet shoes.

 

Tap & Ballet Combo

Dancewear of any style or color.

Hair tied back and out of the face.

Tap & Ballet shoes.

 

Intro to Ballet

Hair secured back (bun preferred).

Any color leotard (skirt optional).

Tights.

Ballet shoes.

 

Intro to Hip Hop

Dancewear or activewear of any style or color - shorts, leggings, joggers, t-shirts, and tank tops are all welcome.

Hair may be worn in any style.

Clean sneakers reserved for studio use only.

 

Beginner & Intermediate Ballet

Hair in a neat, secured bun.

Black leotard.

Pink tights.

Pink ballet shoes.

 

Beginner & Intermediate Tap

Dancewear or activewear (leotard, tank top, fitted t-shirt, leggings, or athletic shorts).

Hair pulled back from the face.

Black tap shoes (for recital consistency).

 

Beginner & Intermediate Jazz & Lyrical

Dancewear or activewear (leotard, tank top, fitted t-shirt, leggings, or athletic shorts).

Hair pulled back from the face.

Pirouette shoes (turners).

 

Beginner & Intermediate Hip Hop

Comfortable clothing that allows for full movement.

Dancewear or activewear is encouraged.

Clean sneakers reserved for studio use only.

 

Adult Dress Code

Our adult classes are designed to be welcoming and comfortable. Wear clothing that allows you to move freely and safely.

 

Adult Ballet

Dancewear or comfortable activewear.

Ballet shoes.

Hair pulled back.

 

Adult Tap

Comfortable activewear.

Tap shoes (any style).

 

Adult Heels (21+)

Dress to feel comfortable and confident.

Heels are encouraged but optional.

Clean sneakers may be worn instead.

 

LaBlast Fitness

Comfortable activewear.

Clean athletic sneakers.

Optional light hand weights (1–4 lbs.)

 

Stretch Class/Stretch & Social

Comfortable activewear.

Clean athletic sneakers or socks.

Tuition, Policies, and Class Descriptions

Tuition Plans:

  1. Monthly Plan – Registration fee + 9 equal payments (September–May), due by the 28th of each month. April and May’s final two tuition payments will be added together.

  2. Semester Plan – Registration fee + 2 installments: September and January.

  3. Full Year Plan – Pay in full by cash or check by 10/1 and receive a 5% discount.
