ARIELLA PAIGE STEIN
2007-2019
Ariella Stein was an 11-year old dancer who danced at our studio for many years. In February of 2017, Ariella was diagnosed with a rare type of bone cancer, Ewing’s Sarcoma. Throughout her battle with this terrible disease, Ariella continued to show up to the studio and support her friends. She even took to the dance floor herself many times when she had the strength to continue dancing. After many months of treatment, Ariella was finally declared cancer free in December of 2017. However, in June 2018, Ariella relapsed and cancer was found in her body once again. Ariella passed away on May 9th, 2019 due to complications from a bone marrow transplant surgery. Although she is not here with us in person, we honor Ariella in any way we can, and will remain #AriellaStrong for the rest of time.
ARI'S BEARS
While Ariella was enduring her own treatments, she wanted to give back to other patients that were also going through treatment. Ariella created her own foundation, “Ari’s Bears” that gives back to children in the hospital by creating stuffed bears and hand delivering them to children in treatment. When Ariella could, she would spend many weekends at Build-A-Bear creating bears to give to other children. Ariella is an inspiration to all, and is the epitome of selflessness and care for others. Though we miss her dearly each and every day, we are so proud of the impact our 11-year old tiny dancer has had on the world. We love you and we miss you Ariella. Keep flying high!
