Irina Borodin began her classical Vaganova ballet training in Ukraine at age 10 before joining the Dnepropetrovsk Ballet Company following graduation. After touring throughout the USSR, she moved to the United States in 1992 and later opened a successful ballet school in Wellington, New Zealand.

Now back in Maryland for over 18 years, Miss Irina continues to share her extensive knowledge and passion for ballet with generations of dancers through ballet, pointe, tap, and combination classes.

 

She finds great joy in watching her students grow year after year.
