Jessica DeCarlo began dancing at Karen Sachs Academy of Dance at the age of 6 and grew up training as part of the competition team. She began teaching at the studio while attending Mount St. Mary’s University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary and special education and served as captain of the dance team for two years.

Jessica is proud to continue sharing her love of dance as co-owner of the studio while also working at KinderCare Preschool in Sykesville. She is celebrating her seventh year teaching and loves helping dancers build confidence and creativity through dance, all while enjoying life with her husband Matt, daughter Autumn, and their three fur babies.

Jessica has also begun creating internship opportunities with KinderCare for some of our senior dancers interested in pursuing careers in early childhood and education-related fields.
