Heather's Story

Heather Kloor Mosher has been teaching at Karen Sachs Academy of Dance for over 40 years and recently celebrated an incredible milestone of 50 years in dance education. Originally from New York, Heather opened the Kloor School of Dance in 1972 and extensively studied dance in New York City under many renowned teachers.

Throughout her career, Heather has choreographed and performed in numerous productions, appeared with entertainers including Tony Bennett, Jerry Vale, and Frankie Avalon, and performed with a professional dance company. She has toured nationally as a competition judge and has been recognized in Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers as well as Dance Teacher Magazine for her work with students.

Miss Heather’s passion, knowledge, and dedication to her dancers have earned countless choreography and entertainment awards throughout her remarkable career.
